This is a lovely piece of work. I’ve given my computational photography class an assignment to make an image using only google earth or google maps as their source material. I showed this to them for inspiration. It’s hypnotic and shows in an elegant way the impossible absurdity of a wall. https://theintercept.com/2016/10/18/best-of-luck-with-the-wall/ via FlowingData http://ift.tt/2dZQCe1

Beyond Institutions Podcast

I’ve been listening to this podcast. David Cayley is amazing. He is a long time friend and collaborator with the late Ivan Illich. Cayley’s wonderful radio documentaries explain and expand many of Illich’s concepts. His archive of radio programs is a treasure, and it boggles my mind that these kinds of very deep, subtle, long form radio programs ever had a place in this world.
